Palin News

About

The date is August 29th, I awake at my father’s house which is located in my home town of Anchorage Alaska. I am visiting Anchorage for my sister’s wedding and my Aunt insists on opening the window shades no later than 8am, my jet lagged eyes open to her smiling face.

“Sarah Palin,” she says, as she makes the bed with me still in it.

“What about her?” I ask.

“She’s running for vice president,” she replied.

I immediately thought this was a bad joke told to early in the morning, nothing is more annoying. My aunt continued to clean the bedroom as I got up and walked downstairs into the kitchen. There the rest of my family confirmed what my aunt had said. I quickly Googled “McCain’s vice president” to verify the information, I just couldn’t belief it. The remainder of the morning I spent in disbelief searching the internet looking for more info, repeating her name to myself over and over “Palin?”

Sara Louise Heath Palin started her political career in Wasilla, Alaska a town of about 10,000 people. There she served on the city council for four years before becoming mayor of Wasilla in 1996. In 2002 Pailn ran for lieutenant governor but her campaign was unsuccessful. She made Alaskan headlines in 2006 when she narrowly beat Democrat Tony Knowles in the race for governor. During her campaign many political actors in Alaska debated her qualifications for governorship. Alaskans where no doubt amazed when John McCain announced his running partner was Alaska’s newly appointed governor.

In this Blog I will give up to date information about Palin’s Campaign for governor from an Alaskan perspective. Alaska is my home so I will offer my perspective. I also plan on getting much of my information about the Palin campaign from Alaskan journalists, politicians and people.

Im confused, are you writing this for a class or just for the heck of it. Sarah Palin is a absolute joke, that is not funny. I hate her with all of my imaginary soul and am ashamed that she is a spawn of our great state. Good day sir

Joseph you are dope. Jamie You are an Idiot!
My only consolation to the fact that Palin and her old man running mate are losing to what will probably be our first Arabic president is that he will very quickly prove to you once and for all how retarded Democrats are by furthering the destruction started when his party became the majority. Good day to you sir!
